Designed as an easy to install system to increase your engine idle speed for more charging system output. Many Electronic drive-by-wire and Mechanical models are available (click here).
	The Universal Mechanical High Idler Kit is Part # PI-1015 (for 1995 and earlier vehicles)
Solenoid-operated cable assembly for mechanical throttles (Drive-by-wire systems don't use the solenoid & cable)	Idle Controller (2.5" wide x 1.25" tall x 3.125" deep) (not used in all kits)

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Fully automatic operation with manual capabilities. One piece electronic control module with solenoid operated cable for mechanical throttles or plug-in design for "drive-by-wire" applications. Three LED voltage system indicators. Supplied with complete wiring harness for simple installation. Simple RPM adjustment. Complete installation instructions for many applications.	System will disengage when vehicle is in gear or the brake pedal is depressed. Short circuited output protection. (to protect against incorrect installation or shorted output) Over voltage protection (to protect against "Load Dump"). 50V for one-second, 100V for one-half second, 25V for indefinite amount of time. Reverse polarity protection (to protect against reverse jump start). 25V for one minute. GXL wire standard in interconnect wiring harness.
