The American flag flies proudly in front of the PennTex plant 24 hours a
day. In April of 2008 a wind storm came through and damaged the flag.
This required a technician to climb the pole and replace the flag and
rope. In no time the new flag was flying in the Texas sun.

On February 11-12, 2010 the Ft. Worth, TX area
received 12.5 inches of snow in a 24-hour period, breaking the all-time
record for a snowfall here since records have been kept. Snow shovels and
plows had to be improvised.
The remains of a snowman made the previous day can be
seen. PennTex was open both days to serve our customers.
