| Hot Rodder Questions: What's the
most universal PennTex Alternator Style?
The "P"-Style
alternator has been used on cars and trucks for decades.
Click here for information. What comes in an alternator kit? The kits come with a alternator, 6-foot-long harness and voltage regulator. All components can also be purchased separately. What connections have to be made? The regulator harness needs ignition-on power, a ground, and a connection to the battery for system regulation. Larger alternator battery & ground cables are also needed. Some kits plug into existing connections. The more universal kits splice into ignition-on power. Click here for the schematic index. |

| Do you have a "late-model Chevrolet"
bolt pattern alternator? Yes- the
PX-4V-220 Series. That pattern was used by most GM V-8's from 2010
back to the early '90's. Click
here How does your PX-422V compare to other aftermarket alternators? Click here My pulley is V-groove-not serpentine. A lot of the OEM alternators of this size have the same size rotor shaft O.D. You can swap your pulley on to our alternator or we might have what you need. Check our Pulleys Pages by clicking here. Where can I buy PennTex Products? Click here for our Distributors list. |
