NOTE: Some Ford 4.6 V-8 intake coolant crossover pipes leak and the replacement part is different than the original. This replacement pipe is larger in diameter than the original crossover pipe. This can cause an interference with a standard PX-220R or 220RL-5 alternator. 1996-2002  limousines and police cars with a 4.6 V-8 engine, and any 2002-back Ford 4.6 V-8 engine that has had the intake coolant crossover pipe upgraded will require a PennTex alternator part number PX-220RL-5T.
